I am just a guy looking to be happy, like everyone else. Honestly I am not sure what to say... but I'm a photographer, my photo collection is over 24,000 deep. I tend to spend a lot of time outdoors, taking pictures, going on walks, enjoying nature and all it has to offer. My life has been quite a journey to this point. I find that I live for change... I think it keeps life worth living. I fall in love with literature and sounds- ie; music far too often.. and I confuse almost everyone I encounter. I try to find the good in people and situations. Everyone deserves a chance.. until they don't anymore. I spend most of my time when not working out singing. I've met so many amazing people through my experiences. I love comedy shows & going to new places. I recently went to the lux level at a theatre (you have to be 21) and I was so fascinated and amused by it I spent most of my time there enjoying where I was rather than paying attention to the movie that was playing. I am such an easy person to be around. While at UMASS Amherst I played flute in the band and had some amazing memories. I don't live at school anymore, but I will visit as much as I can. Also, I was an active sister of the honorary band sorority known as, Tau Beta Sigma. Not your typical sorority girl, but all the sisters share a common interest in music. It was mostly there that I met some wonderful people, with friendships that will last a lifetime.

I'm not religious, but I have so many spiritual beliefs. I guess that makes me inherently contradictive. I'm a geek but I'm not a dork. Or is it I'm a dork but I'm not a geek? Something like that. I read comic books but I'm not anal about their condition. I'm a horribly picky eater, but I know that eventually I'll find someone capable of getting me to eat new foods. Despite my limited dietary consumption, I enjoy watching TV and movies as much as possible, not for mere mentally vegetative reasons, though. I'm big on order, yet not on organization. Again with the contradictions. But I'm not hypocritical, that's one area where the contradictions don't apply.

I may be one of the only people who just hates tattoos. I'm not too fond of non-ear piercings either, but at least they can be removed. Ain't that a switch, a guy longing for commitment but against something so committed? But it's just who I am. It is in my personal opinion that we've reached, as a society, an era where what was once non-conformity is now conformity to the point of banality. To be what was once concerned "conformist" is to be rebellious. Dat pendulum do swing!

I have been told that I am somewhat of a big kid. Try not to hold that against me.

Hi! :) I am a Rhode Island native who relocated over the border to Massachusetts some time ago (though I actually live closer to Providence now than I did growing up-- go figure). I enjoy going off on intellectual tangents and am the sort who reads with a dictionary beside me for the chance I'll learn a new word or goes to a website for additional information beyond the TV program when referenced by said program. I enjoy my intellectual pursuits too much and sometimes don't always get out or as much done as I'd like. I frequently can have trouble keeping up with my housework and junk mail influx. However I am generally a happy and laid back person.

I love the quote from Bob Dylan "All i can do is be me, whoever that is." Even though I only found that quote a short while ago i feel that i have been living that way my whole life.

I am a musician its usually what I tell people when they ask me what I do for fun because music is such a big part of my life. I love to sing and play guitar (and any other instrument I can get my hands on) so someone who can play music with me would feel like a dream come true, it would be nice but its not necessary.

I have been single for about 10 years, after being married for over 30 years. I have 2 children, they are both married. We are very close, I also have 1 granddaughter. I have some very good friends and would do anything for them (legal of course) and they would do the same for me. I own my own home and that keeps me busy. In August, I walked in the Breast Cancer 3Day. It was my 8th breast cancer event, 4th as a walker. My mother is a survivor, and I work to make sure that no one else will have to go through what she did..
